Katrinelund is located on the southern shore of Lake Hjälmaren, about 2.5 kilometres east of Örebro.
You can get here by car, boat and bike.

GPS

And GPS is good - but not when you're going to Katrinelund. It points you straight into the forest. Drive the old-fashioned way instead, with a map and/or directions. Welcome to Katrinelund!

By car from Örebro

Take road 207 towards Odensbacken for about 2 miles.
Pass Stora Mellösa and then turn left at the sign Sjökrogen Katrinelund.

By boat

The jetty right next to Sjökrogen has mooring space for boats. The water depth at the jetty is about 1 metre, but this can vary due to the water level. In summer, boat trips with M/S Sirena go from Naturens Hus to Katrinelund on Wednesdays & Saturdays.
